Charming one bedroom apartment on a beautiful horse farm. Our family of four had a wonderful stay. Ideal location for a peaceful getaway in a cozy well-appointed apartment. Our girls loved meeting all the horses and had fun each day feeding the horses carrots. Anya was such a great host, giving us space and checking in if we needed anything. We were even surprised with yummy homemade coffee cake muffins. It was fun to even be able to play a game of "HORSE" as they have a basketball hoop mounted to the barn. So much fun!! Highly recommended this beautiful apartment and it's surroundings. We would definitely book here again! read less

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The location was incredible - a short drive to amazing hikes. The nearby town has lots of great options for food as well. Anya was part of what made the experience so great as well - the space is very cozy and clean, with everything you might need. Anya was very responsive, and even let us join her at the fire pit and made homemade cupcakes too. The horses all around make you feel like you are at a nature retreat- with even a very beautiful hike with a gorgeous view right behind where you are staying. I am so happy we booked our New Years trip here- will definitely be coming back! read less

Anya’s place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to all the sites we wanted to see. Also close to a supermarket which was handy, and dozens of restaurants and cafes. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful apartment. read less

Just had the best stay in Upstate NY and enjoyed meeting Anya and family! The clean, cozy, charming one bedroom apt had everything I needed for a stress free stay. When my nieces visited, Anya took time out of her day to introduce us to the horses, answer our endless questions and provide a tour of the beautiful property. I especially loved hanging with her family and other guests at the evening bonfire she hosted. Due to an impending storm I reached out on the possibilty of arriving a day early. She responded within minutes and went above and beyond in ensuring I was able to check in and was safe for the night. Quotes from the nieces: "That was so cool to meet and treat the horses!" "Anya's banana muffins and krispy treats are the bomb!... that was so nice of her" They also loved the games and books available. Already, I am looking to book a return trip next year! read less

This was an A+++++ experience. Very sorry when we had to leave and check out. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly – and we have stayed at many, many other AirBnB’s – but none at wonderful as this. 1) Anya was very, very communicative. 2) The place is a 5+ star accommodation – clean and the pool table was a great hit with my kids. 3) The mattress in the bed was so soft and wonderful! 4) The location was fantastic – so beautiful. 5) The horses are simply magical. 6) The trails around the property are peaceful and rejuvenating. 7) Anya baked us bread and then some amazing muffins! 8) The hiking up Stissing Mountain was tough, but in a good way – a great workout. You will not go wrong here. Just don’t book today, since we want to return very soon! 😊 read less

This place was magical! The apartment was cozy, warm, with lots of natural sunlight and a wonderful view of some of the property. Anya’s stellar hospitality ensured that we would have an incredible weekend of fun, relaxation and most of all beautiful horses. We were given the opportunity to explore after getting a tour of the entire farm from Anya which was awesome. While exploring we got to meet some of the staff and they were super friendly and knowledgeable about all of the horses there. I would absolutely recommend staying at this location if you are looking to recharge and unwind in nature with beautiful horses! read less

Don't think, just book it. Jacuzzi tub, perfect bed, well-equipped kitchen, pool table. It was absolutely amazing spot for my boyfriend and I to celebrate my birthday. Anya goes above and beyond-case in point that we realized that we had forgotten to buy spaghetti sauce, a key ingredient in our dinner, so I reached out to her and ten minutes later had an excellent jar in my hands after a quick ride down the driveway. Perfect stay and awesome together time-would recommend to anyone. read less

Anya is a wonderful, accommodating host! She made us feel welcome and at ease. My husband and I were able to enjoy the beautiful fall weather on this scenic, peaceful farm. We loved seeing the horses, the stars at night, and visiting the local diners and other farms in the area. The inside is just like the pictures. Everything was clean and stocked with the necessities (and even extras) for our stay. It was just the peaceful relaxing time we needed away from the city. read less

Had an absolutely wonderful stay on this incredibly beautiful farm! The apartment is charming and well appointed and had everything we needed to cook in one of the nights. And the views of the mountains from the kitchen/dining area are spectacular - and same from the sitting chairs outside the apartment. What a special place to visit. The view from the top of the hill is one of the best I’ve ever seen in the Hudson Valley. So nice to watch the sun go down over the mountains and the sky go through amazing color changes. The beauty of the farm is matched by the graciousness of the hosts. Anya is super helpful, friendly and accommodating without being intrusive in any way. What a great combination. And she left delicious home-baked goodies for us each which was so nice. As was letting us use their Gator to drive around the property. Can't wait to come back again! read less

Staying at Dutchess Views was by far one of the best decisions I’ve made. I found this beautiful, quite, and unbelievably scenic location while looking for a place to bring my girlfriend for her birthday. We were shocked when we got there at how gorgeous the land was and the sloped hills surrounding you made it feel like you were in your own little nook of the world, surrounded by beautiful horses, wild flowers, butterflies, deer, and more. Our hosts were spectacular! Anya made birthday muffins and a little card for my girlfriend that was on the counter when we arrived, she gave us a tour/meet and treat with the horses and allowed us to wander the premises at our leisure. We especially enjoyed heading up to their top most hill each night just in time to watch the sun-set behind the mountains. TEN OUT OF TEN! read less

This is the place to be, look no further! I cannot express enough how great my stay was here with my best friend. The Airbnb was clean, easy to find and accommodated all of our needs. The host is probably the best host we’ve encountered through Airbnb, she was attentive and quick to respond. The horses were great neighbors and the property was so beautiful, pictures really don’t do it justice. I genuinely don’t have any complaints, this place is the perfect spot for families, couples, and those looking to enjoy some quiet time alone. We will be back again! read less

Where should I start? I travel somewhat frequently and have stayed in many, many Airbnbs; this was far and away, my favorite experience ever. The farm is absolutely gorgeous, as is the surrounding area. The apartment is clean and spacious, with plenty of towels. Anya is easy to communicate with, and SO KIND! She gave us a tour of the farm on an ATV, and then allowed us to use the ATV to explore a bit on our own. We were able to take it up to the highest point on the farm and watch the sun set one evening. Even though it was a cloudy evening, it was still beautiful. She also baked us fresh bread, which was delicious! We enjoyed it with coffee every morning. And she gave us great recommendations for stuff to do in the area. Ultimately, the Airbnb is a steal, and we are looking forward to coming back as soon as time allows us! Thank you, Anya! read less

Me and my partner decided we wanted to do an upstate getaway for his birthday weekend. We live in NYC so it was only a 2 hour train ride and a 30 minute drive to the farm. Upon arrival, Anya was amazing at communicating and making us feel at ease immediately. She left the most delicious cookies on the counter for us. The apartment was spotless, the pool table was a joy, and the jacuzzi was everything and more. There is even a grill right outside your apartment that you are able to use! The farm is over 100 acres, with sweeping views of the Catskills and even Connecticut. The second day Anya came over and gave us a tour of the farm in the gator, then allowed us to use the gator for the rest of our stay. Every day, we used to gator to explore the farm and greet the horses. It was such an amazing time!!!!! Like all of the other reviews, once you are in the farm, you do NOT want to leave. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had with air bnb and I will definitely be returning to Anya’s for another stay. Don’t think twice about booking Anya’s place; you’ll regret it if you don’t! We had a great stay at Anya’s, Michael’s and Shane’s race horse farm, this is by far the best Airbnb that we’ve ever stayed. The living space was so spacious you can play tag with your kids, the bed room was also huge and a very comfortable bed. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and cookware. Everything was so clean, you could even walk bare foot on the floor and not feel a crumb. Gosh they even had a pool, deep enough to dive. Communication with the host ( Anya) was great, she was very warm hearted, friendly and understood all the right things to say and do. She definitely went beyond thinking outside of the box with this property. More like she knew how to make you fall in love with their place. She baked every day we were there and that was far beyond what I loved. Our favorite, was when she gave us to drive around the 100 acre property an ATV. My toddler loved that the most but not more then my husband who felt like a child at that moment. My son loved it there so much, that every morning he would wake up and run to get dressed as quick as possible to go see the horses. This is a treasure in the heart of his Hudson valley. Highly recommend! This is something of a lifetime experience. read less

This was such a wonderful experience! We were greeted with home-baked bread and a lovely view. During our stay we enjoyed the pool, billiards, ping pong, horses, BBQ and cozy indoors. We made so many plans outside but ended up not wanting to leave Dutchess View Farms at all. Anya and her son gave us a tour with the views of the The Berkshires and Catskill mountains in the distance. Perfect stay! Thank you guys! read less

Such a great stay! Anya’s place was very clean, and ideal for a quiet getaway. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the pool table during our stay the most! The stair case is a little narrow to get to the bedroom but so cool when we got up there! The sunrises and sunsets were my favorite here. Anya was such a great host making sure she gave us our space to enjoy the place and checking in if we needed anything. She let us borrow her gator cart to ride around the property and see all the horses, such great views! Don’t contemplate on booking you won’t regret staying here. read less

One word - AMAZING! The place is truly magical on so many levels. Do yourself a favour and book it right now! Anya and her husband Michael are so kind and welcoming. They treat you like you are family while respecting your privacy. Each apartment is sparkling clean, spacious and it truly feels like you are at home. The farm is so huge and beautiful and the best thing about it are the thoroughbred horses and a sweet pony! You get to know them and they are so kind and playful. The valley surrounded by the ancient mountains radiates beams of healing energy and you can feel it with every cell of your body. There are so many pretty towns inhabited by friendly people and there are wineries, restaurants and bars. There is a lot more can be said about the Dutchess Views Farm, but do yourself a favour and see for yourself, you won’t regret it! read less

Our stay was magical. It was such a treat to wake every morning in the spacious apartment, surrounded by gorgeous views and majestic horses, lazily grazing in their fields. The snowy winter weather only added to the magic. This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as outstanding as the first. Anya is a wonderful host, and was particularly thoughtful and attentive to the fact that we would be staying during a storm bringing heavy snow, wind, and cold - leaving detailed instructions and auxiliary space heaters and checking in on our comfort. We stayed cozy and certainly enjoyed the large bathtub during the cold weather! Getting to meet some horses and walk around the snow-covered grounds after the storm was icing on the cake. read less

We had an amazing time! Anya and her family made sure we were well taken care of. She went above and beyond with her hospitality and was willing to offer help regardless of the time of day. Fantastic! The location (both the grounds/nearby area and the apartment itself) are just as beautiful in person as the photos convey, and every detail has clearly been thought through with guests’ comfort in mind. The hanging swing and the jetted bathtub were particularly relaxing and lovely. Anya was a great host - communication was clear, timely and warm, while also fully respecting guests’ privacy. A couple of things to note: they are not kidding about the narrowness of the stairway, which does require being careful. Also, unless you’re familiar with the area, I’d recommend trying to arrive during daylight hours, as the roads leading to the farm are dark and winding. Anya gave very clear directions to the unit, but at least for us, finding our way there at night was a bit challenging. But now that we know where it is, we’ll be back - a great experience overall! read less

This place is perfect, the room, the views, the communication, everything about it was perfect and we couldn’t ask for a better host. We stayed here the weekend right after Thanksgiving. The loft was absolutely STUNNING! Anya was so sweet to even bring some baked muffins to our door our first morning there (they were delicious, thank you Anya!), the hospitality was phenomenal and it was so peaceful and relaxing. I strongly recommend this stay for anyone who is wanting a nice getaway! We had so much fun playing several rounds of pool, enjoyed the whirlpool bathtub, met some sweet horses and the bed was SO comfortable. 10/10! read less

Anya's place was perfect for us! The kitchen was well-stocked, including coffee, dog biscuits, and homemade delicious granola. The bed was quite comfortable as was the large couch. The setting itself was idyllic. We enjoyed walking around the farm and greeting the horses. We visited nearby Hudson (Hudson Brewing Company!), and took day trips to Poughkeepsie (Walkway Over the Hudson), Beacon (Industrial Arts Brewing), and the Berkshires. We would definitely stay here again. read less

We had a wonderful stay at Anya’s guesthouse. It was clean, spacious, quiet, and had a beautiful updated kitchen. The views of the farm and horses were magical, and Anya went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend staying here. read less

What a fabulous place to stay for the weekend! Wish I were staying longer. Wish I lived there. The perfect combination of the apartment, the location and the hosts. First, the apartment is very comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Much more space than I expected and beautiful views from the windows. Which leads to the location. The farm is spectacular. The views from the apartment and outside it are amazing. But definitely walk up to the top of the hill - one of the best views I’ve ever seen in the Hudson Valley. Do it around sunset if you can. I did that both nights and the sky was amazing as the sun set over the mountains in the distance. And Anya is a wonderful host - accommodating, flexible and just plain nice. She shared her home baked muffins each morning but doesn’t intrude at all. A very special place! And if you’re into biking as I am, the loop around Bean River Road and Tripp Road is one of the prettiest rides I’ve ever done anywhere. I’ll be back! read less
